The cardamom comes through just right—warm and fragrant without overpowering the dates. I’m glad there’s no added sugar, since the natural sweetness from the dates is plenty for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

The texture reminds me of Bakkileh, and I appreciate there's no added sugar. It's a nice, dense bar with a subtle spice from the cardamom that pairs well with the dates.

The cardamom really comes through, which I wasn't expecting from a date bar. No added sugar but it still tastes like a treat, and the barley gives it a nice chewy texture instead of that sticky brick feel. Been keeping a couple in my bag for the 4pm slump.
